Trying to eat better for the new year? But still have a sweet tooth? Let me help with these Cranberry Oatmeal Chocolate Bars. They come together in one pan and set in the refrigerator.
I am not one to diet and I pretty much eat everything…. but I noticed I have been eating worse and my biggest problem is eating LATE when I get home from work. I feel that when I get home at 11 o clock at night I still need something…and usually it is not the healthiest choice. SO I decided to make a little treat that will satisfy my sweet tooth but without feeling too bad about it.
There are just a few simple HEALTHY ingredients…oats, peanut butter, dried cranberries, chia seeds, honey, and a few chocolate chips (never hurt anyone :)).
Really all your have to do is combine the oats, peanut butter, and honey over medium heat in a pan. Keep stirring until well combined. Turn off heat and add the rest of the ingredients. Then press into a 8×8 pan. I lined mine with wax paper just to make it easier to remove and cut.. As always…. ENJOY! (guilt free I might add)
