This Cherry Chicken Pasta Salad is my favorite pasta salad to make! It is so tasty you honestly can just keep eating it and eating it… This can be as a side dish at a BBQ or as a main dish for lunch.
My parents always made a version of this growing up whenever they had leftover chicken. One day I added the dried cherries and this became my go to pasta salad. I just used canned chicken but you can use rotisserie chicken or even tuna works well in this recipe, too!
This is so simple. You cook the pasta, chop your veggies and mix with all the rest of the ingredients in.
Top with a little paprika for some additional color, refrigerate, and enjoy!
Cherry Chicken Pasta Salad
- 1 (1lb) box Mini Farfalle pasta
- 2 cups whipped dressing
- 1 (12.5 oz) can chicken or 1/2 cup cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup dried cherries
- 1 cup diced onion
- 2 stalks celery
- 1/2 tsp paprika optional
- Cook pasta according to package.
- Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large mixing bowl add pasta and dressing.
- Mix well then add the rest of the ingredients.
- Sprinkle paprika over pasta salad.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour and serve cold.
