Ingredients

  • 8 pork sausage patties maple flavor or other (pork sausage roll works too)
  • 8 eggs
  • Pancake batter for 16 pancakes
  • 1-2 Tbsp syrup
  • 8 slices of American Cheese

Instructions

  • Fire up your griddle and cook over low. Make pancake mix according to boxed instructions.
  • Start by cooking the pork sausage patties since that will take the longest.
  • "Smash" the pork sausage in the beginning so it lays flatter on the sandwich.
  • Once the sausage is almost done go ahead and crack your eggs onto the griddle (if you have egg rings use those).
  • Move the sausage over to the side to make room to make your pancakes. Slowly add the pancake batter to the griddle (if you want uniform pancakes you can use a batter dispenser. Drizzle a little syrup right in the pancake before flipping.
  • Then assemble your McGriddles with one pancake, the fried egg, sausage patty, American cheese, and top off with the second pancake.
  • Serve hot with addition syrup for dipping if desired.
