Slow Cooker Hot Pepper Jelly Chicken Wings

These Hot Pepper Jelly Chicken Wings are so delicious. Cooked in the slow cooker and finished off in the oven!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 lbs raw chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup hot pepper jelly +more to glaze
  • 1 tbsp honey regular or hot
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Start by cutting the chicken wings at the joints, trimming any unwanted parts, and discard wing tips.
  • Spray the slow cooker with nonstick spray.
  • Add the chicken wings and the rest of the ingredients.
  • Stir everything to toss and combine ingredients.
  • Set slow cooker to low and cook for 3.5 -4 hours until internal temp reaches 165 degrees F.
  • Transfer the wings to a foil lines baking sheet and top the wings with a little extra jelly. (can microwave the jelly for easier glazing or add some water to it).
  • Broil in the oven on high for a few minutes until desired crispiness is met.
  • Brush a little more jelly on before serving if desires and Enjoy!
