Slow Cooker Cajun Sausage & Potato Chowder

This Slow Cooker Cajun Sausage and Potato Chowder is easy to make with just a few ingredients and loaded with flavor.

  • 1 Slow Cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 24 oz. Package of Honey Gold Potatoes about 4-5 cups cubed
  • 3/4 cup chopped white onion
  • 1 lb. Cajun or Hot Pork Sausage or regular
  • 1 12 oz. can of Evaporated Milk
  • 1 14 oz. can of creamed corn
  • 1 15 oz. can of Southwest Corn with poblano and bell peppers
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • red pepper flakes to taste

Instructions
 

  • First brown up the Cajun pork sausage in a pan with the chopped onions over medium heat.
  • While that is cooking, wash and cube up the potatoes.
  • Then once the sausage is done, drain and add to the slow cooker.
  • Add all of the other ingredients, give it a stir and cook on low 6-8 hours or High 3-4 hours!
