Slow Cooker Cajun Sausage & Potato Chowder

This Slow Cooker Cajun Sausage and Potato Chowder is easy to make with just a few ingredients and loaded with flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 24 oz. Package of Honey Gold Potatoes about 4-5 cups cubed
  • 3/4 cup chopped white onion
  • 1 lb. Cajun or Hot Pork Sausage or regular
  • 1 12 oz. can of Evaporated Milk
  • 1 14 oz. can of creamed corn
  • 1 15 oz. can of Southwest Corn with poblano and bell peppers
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • red pepper flakes to taste

Equipment

  • 1 Slow Cooker

Method
 

  1. First brown up the Cajun pork sausage in a pan with the chopped onions over medium heat.
  2. While that is cooking, wash and cube up the potatoes.
  3. Then once the sausage is done, drain and add to the slow cooker.
  4. Add all of the other ingredients, give it a stir and cook on low 6-8 hours or High 3-4 hours!
