Instant Pot Chicken Marinara Rotini

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups pasta dry
  • 1 24 oz jar Marinara sauce
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 14.5 oz diced tomatoes (Italian)
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian blend shredded cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken thighs into 1" pieces.
  • In Instant Pot, add olive oil, onions, garlic.
  • Then add chicken, seasonings, marinara, pasta, and water.
  • Seal and lock the lid.
  • Set Instant Pot to pressure cook on high for 12 minutes.
  • Once finished cooking, manual release the steam, and unlock lid.
  • Stir and top with cheese.
  • Then cover for a few minutes until cheese is melted.
