Lemon Parmesan Ground Turkey Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz ziti noodles or similar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lemon zest & juice
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Start the pot of water for your noodles and cook according to the package.
  • Add the olive oil to a large pan and heat over medium heat. Add in the ground turkey and minced garlic.
  • Once the turkey is browned, drain any grease if necessary.
  • Then add in the heavy cream, chicken broth, the lemon zest, lemon juices, lemon pepper seasoning, and butter. Let simmer until it thickens a but and everything is well combined.
  • Then sprinkle in the parmesan cheese. Stir and cook until desired consistency.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the sauce and give everything a stir. Spoon into bowls and top with some red pepper flakes and extra parmesan cheese.
