Juicy Pork Chops on the Blackstone

These juicy Blackstone Pork Chops are simple to prepare and cook quickly. You can enjoy them plain or serve them up with some seasoned and beer soaked peppers and onions.

Equipment

  • Griddle, flat top, or cast iron skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • Pork BBQ Rub
  • 3-4 mini sweet bell peppers sliced
  • 1/2 onions sliced
  • 6 oz. beer
  • 2-3 tbsp butter or pork lard

Instructions
 

  • Season both sides of the pork chops with the BBQ rub. (Let sit for a few until dinner time or cover and refrigerate.)

For the Peppers and Onions

  • Slice the peppers and onions and place in a small bowl. Add in a few dashes of BBQ rub and the beer. (Let marinate for a few or cover and refrigerate).
  • Heat up the Blackstone Griddle over medium heat and add about 1 tbsp butter to the surface. Drain the beer from the peppers and onions and add to the flat top. Let cook for a few minutes before adding the pork chops.

For the Pork Chops

  • On the other side of the griddle, add some more butter. Add the pork chops and let cook about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
  • Add the peppers and onions on top of the pork chops and remove from the griddle.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
