Bacon Jam Ham Sandwiches (Blackstone or Stove top)

If you're looking for an easy lunch or quick dinner, these Bacon Jam Ham Sandwiches are hard to beat. The combination of crispy sourdough, melty provolone, savory ham, and smoky bacon jam creates an incredible sandwich that feels a little gourmet without any extra work.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2- 1 lb. bacon optional (as much to your liking)
  • 1.5-2 lbs. sliced deli ham
  • 6-8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 loaf Sourdough Bread
  • 1 jar Bacon Jam as much to your liking

Equipment

  • 1 flat top grill, griddle or skillet

Method
 

  1. Heat your Blackstone/flat top up to low-medium heat and start cooking the bacon.
  2. Once the bacon is almost done add piles of the sliced ham to the other side of the surface, cook for a few, then flip.
  3. Add slices of cheese to the ham piles.
  4. Then on another part of the surface (on low) add some butter and place the sourdough bread down to toast.
  5. Then spread some of the bacon jam to one side of the bread and assemble the sandwiches with a few slices of the bacon and the ham and melted cheese. Top with the other piece of toast.
  6. Cut in half, serve warm, and enjoy.
Stove top/ oven instructions
  1. Heat up a cast iron pan or non-stick pan and cook up your bacon and brown the ham in a pan and assemble sandwiches.Then just toast the sandwiches in the pan or pop under the broiler for a minute or two.
