Boursin Stuffed Smoked Shrimp

These Boursin Stuffed Smoked Shrimp will make the perfect appetizer for the holidays or anytime. They seem fancy- but they are as simple as ever and taste like something you would get at an Italian restaurant with a little smoke on it!

Ingredients
  

  • 12-14 large raw shrimp deveined
  • 5 oz Garlic & Herb Boursin cheese divided
  • 3 oz prosciutto
  • SPG seasoning
  • Balsamic glaze

Method
 

  1. Preheat smoker to 225°F.
  2. Defrost shrimp and make a slit down the back.
  3. Add about 3 oz Boursin into the slits.
  4. Wrap each shrimp with prosciutto.
  5. Place in a cast-iron pan and sprinkle with SPG.
  6. Smoke for 1 hour.
  7. Add the remaining Boursin to the center of the pan (optional).
  8. Smoke 15 more minutes or until shrimp are cooked.
  9. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve.
Oven Instructions
  1. Just follow the instructions and then bake at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes depending on the size of your shrimp. Adding the remaining Boursin cheese during the last 5 minutes.
