Cheddar Bacon Smoked Chex Mix

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Corn Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups Wheat Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups Cheddar Bacon Duoz Cheez-its
  • 2 cups Flavor Blasted Goldfish Crackers
  • 2 cups Thin Pretzel Sticks
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Spicy Pork BBQ Rub (or similar) or all purpose rub/seasoning

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chex cereals, Cheez-its, Goldfish, pretzels, and peanuts.
  2. In a microwaveable dish melt the butter and add the BBQ rub and Worcestershire sauce. Give it a quick mix with a fork or small whisk.
  3. Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients and toss/stir to combine.
  4. Pour the Chex mix out onto a large sheet pan or aluminum pan.
  5. Transfer out to smoker and smoke at 200 degrees for about 1 hour 20 minutes. (stir halfway).
  6. When finished, pull off and let cool completely.
  7. Then store in Zip-lock bags or an air-tight container.
Oven Instructions
  1. Follow same steps except bake at 250 degrees F for 1 hour.
