First wash the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half and chop up the fresh broccoli into smaller pieces.
Then heat up your pan with some olive oil and add the Italian sausage. Cook and break into pieces while cooking. Then drain the majority of the grease (its okay to leave some for the sauce).
Then add in the garlic paste or fresh garlic, the cherry tomatoes, salt pepper and red pepper flakes. Cook for another few minutes.
Next add in the broccoli florets and reduce the heat. Cover the pan and let simmer until the broccoli is cooked to your liking.
Meanwhile cook the pasta according to the package and drain, reserving 1 cup of the pasta water.
Add the cooked pasta and the water to the Italian Sausage mixture. Stir until all is combined. Feel free to add more Olive oil to your liking, too!
Then serve it up with some fresh grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
