Easy and Delicious Flank Steak Marinade

This easy Flank Steak Marinade is loaded with flavor for a delicious and tender steak. The perfect way to tenderize and add flavor to this cut of meat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp steak seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup bbq sauce
  • 1 flank steak

Method
 

Flank Steak Marinade
  1. Make a few slits into the meat with a sharp knife.
  2. Combine the olive oil, steak seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and bbq sauce in a bowl and whisk until well combined.
  3. Add the Flank steak to a large Zip-lock bag and pour the marinade over the meat.
  4. Seal the bag and try to get the majority of the air out as well. Refrigerate until ready to cook (2-12 hours).
  5. When ready to cook, pull the steak out of the marinade and grill or sear to desired temperature.
Grilled/Seared Flank Steak
  1. Heat your grill, flat top, or cast iron pan to med-high temperature and add the flank steak. Cook for about 5 minutes of each side until a crust forms.
  2. For a medium rare steak, pull the steak when it reaches 130-135 degrees and let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
  3. Slice against the grain, serve, and enjoy.
