Easy Cherry Cheesecake Pastries (with Crescent Rolls)

These Easy Cherry Cheesecake Pastries are made with crescent rolls and just a few ingredients. Perfect with a cup of coffee or even a morning treat for the kids.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract or (1/2 tsp. almond extract)
  • 1 8 oz. can of crescent rolls
  • 1/2 cup cherry pie filling more or less to your liking

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  • Next unroll the crescent sheet out onto your baking sheet (use parchment paper if you have it or spray with non stick spray.)
  • Cut the crescent dough into eight equal squares and press the seams together.
  • Then add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture to the center of each crescent square. Fold the corners of the square in and slightly pinch them together.
  • Spoon some of the cherry pie filing on top and bake at 375 degrees F for about 12 minutes until the crescent rolls are golden.
