Easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15.25 oz Box of Yellow Cake Mix or white
  • 1 Cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 15 oz. can of pure pumpkin
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 16 oz. can of vanilla frosting or cream cheese

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl combine the yellow cake mix, water, and the eggs.
  2. Mix until batter forms and is well combined.
  3. Then whisk in the pumpkin, cinnamon, and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish or cake pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 28-30 minutes.
  6. Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
For the frosting
  1. Microwave the can of frosting (cap and foil removed) for about 25-30 seconds and stir. Do not over heat if you do let cool.
  2. Slowly pour over the entire cake and spread.
  3. Top with more chocolate chips, cut and serve.
