Flat Top Instructions
- First open your pizza dough (or make it from scratch). I cut mine in half to make 2 smaller pizzas for easier handling. On a floured surface press it out by hand into two pizzas (or roll it out with a rolling pin).
- Heat the flat top up over medium heat. Add some of the butter on the surface and spread around. Carefully add the dough and let cook about 5 minutes. Once the bottom is browned flip over to let the other side cook.
- As the other side cooks spoon on the apple pie filling and chopped walnuts. The filling will warm up a bit as it finishes cooking.
- I added a little more butter to the crust, too.
- When the pizza dough is browned, remove from the flat top. Mix the honey vanilla Greek yogurt with a spoon and then add a little drizzle on top.
- Slice and serve and enjoy warm!
Grill Instructions
- Heat your grill to a high temperature. Brush the grill or the pizza dough with melted butter or some oil. Allow the dough to cook until the bottom is browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Grab the dough with tongs and flip it over. Spread the top with canned apple pie filling and the chopped walnuts. Cook on the grill until the bottom of the crust is crispy. Remove from the grill and add the honey vanilla Greek yogurt.
