Leftover Brisket BBQ Pizza

this pizza recipe is great with leftover brisket and can be cooked right on the grill or smoker.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Course: Appetizer, Main Course

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (link to my recipe in notes)
  • 1/3 cup bbq sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • cooked brisket
  • garlic powder
  • red pepper flakes
  • BBQ Rub/seasonings optional

Method

  1. Roll out pizza dough on to stone or cast iron pan.
  2. Pour bbq sauce over dough and spread out leaving the edge without sauce.
  3. Sprinkle cheese over the sauce.
  4. Then add the brisket and any other topping (red onion etc)
  5. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and/or bbq seasonings.
  6. Spray crust with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  7. If cooking on the grill or smoker, heat to 400 degrees.
  8. Let cook for about 15 minutes until crust is starting to brown.
  9. Slice and serve!

Notes

**cooking times may vary. Cooking times for the oven should be about the same just pull it out when the cheese is melted and crust is cooked. If using a store bought crust, cook according to package.
