Maraschino Cherry Chocolate Brownies

These scratch made brownies are super easy to make and perfect for a quick treat any time of the year! These would make the perfect treat for Valentine's Day, too!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter 2 sticks
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsps vanilla
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Maraschino Cherries

Method
 

  1. In a medium pot over medium heat, melt butter.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Then beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder and mix until well combined.
  4. Pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for about 25-30 mins.
  6. Let cool a bit and use your thumb to make an indent and set a cherry in each indent.
