Maraschino Cherry Chocolate Brownies
These scratch made brownies are super easy to make and perfect for a quick treat any time of the year! These would make the perfect treat for Valentine's Day, too!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter 2 sticks
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsps vanilla
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Maraschino Cherries
Instructions
- In a medium pot over medium heat, melt butter.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Then beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder and mix until well combined.
- Pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
- Bake at 350 for about 25-30 mins.
- Let cool a bit and use your thumb to make an indent and set a cherry in each indent.
