Shortcut Smoked Trout Dip (or Salmon)

This Shortcut Smoked Trout Dip is so easy to make with just a few ingredients. A delicious smoky dip perfect to elevate your appetizer game.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Smoked Trout or Smoked Salmon
  • 1 7.5 oz Philadelphia Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • chopped green onions for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • First remove the fish from the skin and shred it into pieces.
  • Then remove the cap and foil of the cream cheese and microwave it for about 20 seconds until softened.
  • Grab a medium bowl and add in the fish, softened cream cheese, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  • Mix until everything is well combined. Taste and add more salt and pepper if desired.
  • You can garnish with some fresh green onions or chives if desired.
  • Then serve right away or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
