Shortcut Smoked Trout Dip (or Salmon)

This Shortcut Smoked Trout Dip is so easy to make with just a few ingredients. A delicious smoky dip perfect to elevate your appetizer game.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Smoked Trout or Smoked Salmon
  • 1 7.5 oz Philadelphia Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • chopped green onions for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. First remove the fish from the skin and shred it into pieces.
  2. Then remove the cap and foil of the cream cheese and microwave it for about 20 seconds until softened.
  3. Grab a medium bowl and add in the fish, softened cream cheese, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  4. Mix until everything is well combined. Taste and add more salt and pepper if desired.
  5. You can garnish with some fresh green onions or chives if desired.
  6. Then serve right away or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
