Strawberry Pancakes (From Scratch)

These pancakes from scratch are so easy with a few staples from the pantry!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup strawberries diced

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  2. In a separate bowl combine all wet ingredients.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and whisk until batter forms, breaking up any lumps.
  4. Heat skillet over medium heat and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Once skillet in hot, pour about 1/3 cup batter to form pancakes and add strawberries.
  6. Flip once bubbles start to form on batter and bottom is golden brown.
  7. Let the other side cook until light brown.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot with extra strawberries, butter, syrup, whipped cream, or toppings of choice!
