Ingredients

  • 1 3.4 oz Box of Instant Banana Pudding
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 bananas sliced
  • 1 16 oz. Tub of whipped topping
  • 1 box Vanilla Wafers
  • 1 1/2-2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 3/4 cup blueberries

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine the cold milk and banana pudding mix. You can use a mixer or just whisk until thickened.
  2. In a separate bowl beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and mix in the sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and beat until combined.
  4. In your 9x13 baking dish, lay out a layer of vanilla wafer cookies on the bottom of the dish. Add 1/2 of the pudding mixture on top of the cookies.
  5. Next add 1/2 the banana slices over the pudding mixture. Then top with half of the container of whipped topping.
  6. Add one more layer of cookies, followed by the pudding mixture, then the bananas, and then finish with the rest of the whipped topping.
  7. Next assemble the flag by placing the blueberries in the top left corner of the dessert. Then add the sliced strawberries in rows to resemble the American Flag. (alternatively: just sprinkle the berries on top)
  8. Gently cover with plastic wrap or a piece of parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours before serving.
