For Maple Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Equipment

  • 9 x 13 baking dish

Method

  1. Peel, core, and dice your apples. (I sprinkled with cinnamon and mixed)
  2. In a medium bowl combine both white and brown sugars, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
  3. In a separate bowl combine the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking powder and whisk until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix (using a spatula or wooden spoon).
  5. Then fold in the diced apples.
  6. Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Let cool.
For Maple Glaze
  1. In a small bowl combine the powdered sugar, milk, and maple glaze and mix until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Pour glaze over blondies and spread with a spatula.
  3. Cut into bars and serve, enjoy!

Notes

**If you like a stronger maple flavor, can add some to the batter or an additional tablespoon into the glaze.
