Method
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
- In a large bowl combine the flour, salt, and baking powder and mix.
- Add the chilled butter and cut into the dry ingredients using two knives until mixture becomes crumbly.
- Stir in the milk, chopped chives, and parmesan cheese and mix until batter forms.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle with additional shredded parmesan cheese.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and center is cooked.
Notes
- can make into muffins by using a 12 compartment greased muffin tin and fill each section ¾ of the way with the dough. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
