Slow Cooker Pub Style Sandwiches

Tender, juicy beef with onions and jalapenos cooks to perfection in the slow cooker to make these awesome Pub Style Sandwiches.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 2.5 lb chuck roast
  • 1-2 jalapenos chopped
  • 1/2 large onion sliced
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ancho chile powder or regular
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup beer or choice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Liquid Steak Seasoning or Worchester or soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • Buns or Hoagie rolls
  • White Cheese of choice we used white cheddar

Method
 

  1. Place the chuck roast in a sprayed slow cooker.
  2. Next add in your jalapenos, garlic, and sliced onions.
  3. Sprinkle in the ancho chile pepper, onion powder, red pepper flakes, and pepper.
  4. Pour in the beer and water and add the butter on top.
  5. Set the slow cooker to "low" for 7 hours.
  6. Once done, shred the beef. A
  7. Add the meat into your favorite bun or hoagie roll, top with some of the cooked peppers and onions. Add some cheese and more jalapenos (if desired).
  8. Serve with additional juices from the pot for dipping and enjoy.

Notes

Note: toast the entire sandwich in oven, air fryer, or toaster oven.
