Method
- Preheat the smoker to 250 degrees F.
- Roll out one of your pie crusts into the bottom your pie pan, crimping all along the edges with your fingertips.
- In a large bowl, mix one can of cherry pie filling with the blueberries, sugar, and flour. (If the filling isn't as thick as you'd like, add another teaspoon of flour.)
- Pour filling into your pie crust.
- Roll out the other pie crust on top of your filling, crimping along the sides with your fingers to seal in the filling.
- Brush the melted butter on top of the pie crust.
- Cut a few slits in the top of the pie with a knife in any pattern or design you prefer.
- Place in the smoker, close the lid, and smoke for about 2 hours.
- Then raise the temperature to 325 degrees and let cook for about 30-40 minutes or until the crust in golden brown.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream for the ultimate dessert.
Oven instructions:
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
