Taco Loaded Hash Browns

These Taco Loaded Hash Browns can be made in the air fryer oven for a quick weeknight dinner to change things up! Great for taco night or a snack for game day.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 packet of Low Sodium Taco Seasoning (plus water) or homemade blend
  • 10 frozen Hash Brown Patties
  • 1 cup Mexican-style shredded cheese or Colby Jack
  • Salsa,Sour cream ,and guacamole for topping
  • 1 green onion chopped

Equipment

  • Air Fryer or Oven

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground beef in a pan over medium heat, drain, and then add the taco seasoning plus water called for.
  2. While the meat is cooking, bake or Air Fry the frozen hash brown patties according to the package.
    Oven: about 18-20 minutes total flipping halfway
    Air Fryer: about 10-12 minute flipping halfway.
  3. Remove the hash browns from the oven or air fryer and spoon the taco meat over each hash brown patty.
  4. Sprinkle with the cheese first the add the salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Can use leftover taco meat as well!
