This is a little different of a post for me but I figured I could share with all the mommas or mommas to be out there. I have been experimenting with some new baby food recipes for Sofie and they are super easy to make and way more affordable than buying them at the store. This Blueberry Banana Avocado Baby Puree is super easy to make, freeze, and enjoyed by baby!
Why I love this Blueberry Baby Puree
I have purchased a few flavors of baby food at the store and 1) either Sofie didn’t like it. or 2) I thought I could make better at home. So I was on a mission. Obviously some of the super simple purees are easy to make at home like mashed bananas or ever butternut squash. I wanted to make an all in one meal for Sofie though. This Blueberry Banana Avocado Baby Puree has fruits, vegetables, and grains so a complete meal for baby in under a few minutes!

How to make this easy Baby Puree recipe
First toss all the ingredients into your food processor or smoothie maker. I use my Ninja fit which I love!
Then blend it all up until smooth.
Then pour into freezer safe containers…I use these silicone Baby Food Storage Containers from Amazon.com and they are great because it has a lid and the cubes easily pop out when ready to serve..when I have big batches of baby food I just use ice cube trays then transfer to a zip lock bag after they freeze!
Serve fresh or pull a frozen cube out when ready to eat and thaw.
What Baby Food Stage is this puree recipe
I would say this is Baby Stage 2 so 6+ months. Stage 1 is very fine single textures. Stage 2 is a little thicker and has more in it. So just see where your baby is at and go from there! If you are just getting started, you want to go with single purees such as banana, pear, applesauce, etc. Then as baby grows you can experiment a little more at a time. AND ENJOY every stage as they grow and have fun tasting new things!
Sofie tested…..Sofie approved!
