As some of you can tell, we eat pretty much whatever we want around here! One thing I do like to make that is on the healthier side are smoothies! This Blackberry Dragon Fruit Smoothie is loaded with power foods to help fuel your day!
If you haven’t heard of a Dragon Fruit yet, you are missing out! They are crazy cool looking, have the texture of a kiwi, but is very mild in flavor. BUT they pack a punch when in comes to healthy beneifts.

What you need for this Blackberry Dragon Fruit Smoothie
- Dragon Fruit
- Blackberries
- Ground Flax seed
- Kale
- Ice
- Milk
Throw everything in your blender and blend until smooth!
How to Cut a Dragon Fruit?
To cut a Dragon Fruit, first cut the fruit in half lengthwise.
Then using a big spoon and insert it in between the skin and flesh. Then slowly take your spoon around until the fruit pops out. (similar to how you cut a kiwi)

Blackberry Dragon Fruit Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1/2 of 1 Dragon Fruit
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 2 leaves kale washed and chopped
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 1/2 cup milk
- ice
Instructions
- Cut Dragon Fruit in half and use a spoon to remove fruit from the skin.
- In a blender or smoothie maker, add the kale, flax, and blackberries.
- Then add the Dragon Fruit, ice, and milk.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass of choice and enjoy.
