I love some shortcut baking recipes. If you read along at all- you will notice I utilize cake mix and cookie mix often. Two weeks ago I shared some Sugar Cookie Bars that uses both! I love how many combinations you can whip up to make new things. Cake mix can even be made for Lemon Muffins! Well, I had some brownie mix and knew I needed to try something different. And these cookies are very chewy and tasty! Basically a thin brownie in cookie form.
Ingredients Needed for these Brownie Mix Oreo Chocolate Cookies
| 🍪 Brownie Mix– grab your favorite brownie mix or whatever is on sale! I have used bot the large box and smaller one with similar results. 🍪Chocolate Sandwich Cookies– Just some Oreos (or I am a huge store brand person especially in baking- not dunking). 🍪Eggs– you will need two. 🍪Vegetable Oil– just 1/2 cup is needed. |
How to make these chocolate Oreo cookies
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to combine.
Step 2: Use a cookie scoop or large spoon to drop the batter onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet, spacing them about 3 inches apart.
Step 3: Break the Oreos into pieces or crush them and sprinkle on top of each cookie.
Step 4: Bake at 350 degrees F for about 8-10 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the baking sheet.

- 1 18.3 oz box of brownie mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 8-10 Oreo cookies more or less to your liking
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to combine.
- Use a cookie scoop or large spoon to drop the batter onto parchment paper lined baking sheets, spacing them about 3 inches apart. (20-24 cookies total)
- Break the Oreos into pieces or crush them and sprinkle on top of each cookie.
- Bake at 350 for about 8-10 minutes.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the baking sheet.
- Enjoy warm or store in air tight container after they are cooled completely.
