Ingredients Needed for Lucky Charm Rice Krispies

| 🍀 Butter – This is where everything starts. It melts down with the marshmallows and creates that classic base we all know and love. 🍀 Mini Marshmallows – These melt into the butter to hold everything together and give the bars that gooey texture. 🍀 Rice Krispies Cereal – Adds the crunch and keeps these bars feeling like the classic treat we grew up with. 🍀 Lucky Charms Cereal – The fun part! This brings all the color and makes these Lucky Charm Rice Krispies extra playful. Pro tip: If you don’t want to buy the full box the Dollar Tree sells small bags! 🍀 Lucky Charms Marshmallows – I like to save these for the top so you get those bright pops of color in every bite. 🍀 White Chocolate Melts – Drizzled over the top for a sweet finishing touch that makes these bars feel a little extra special. Aldi actually carries some now for a great price. |

How to Make Lucky Charm Rice Krispies
Step 1: Prep your pan. Start by lining a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper and giving it a light grease. This makes removing the bars and slicing them later so much easier.
Step 2: Measure and set aside. Measure out both cereals and then take a minute to pick out ½ cup of Lucky Charms marshmallows. Set those aside—we’ll use them for the fun finishing touch.
Step 3: Melt the marshmallow base. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir often until everything is smooth and melted together.
Step 4: Mix it all together. Remove the pot from the heat and gently stir in the Rice Krispies cereal and the Lucky Charms cereal. Keep stirring until everything is evenly coated.

Step 5: Press into the pan. Pour the mixture into your prepared pan and gently press it down using a greased spatula or spoon. You want it even, but not packed too tight.
Step 6: Melt the chocolate. Add the white chocolate melts to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each round, until fully melted and smooth.
Step 7: Finish and set. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the bars, then sprinkle the reserved Lucky Charms marshmallows on top. Let everything set at room temperature for about an hour before slicing into squares.
I like cutting them into 24 pieces by slicing 6 rows by 4 rows.

Additions & Substitutions
- Swap white chocolate melts for white chocolate chips or almond candy bark.
- You could add green food coloring to the melted chocolate or even to the cereal mixture to make these green!
- Add festive sprinkles
