Looking for a quick and easy dessert to help celebrate the Fourth of July? Try these Red White & Blue Brownie Sundaes! Easy to make, delicious, and the perfect Summer treat!
I kept these Red White & Blue Brownie Sundaes simple by using a boxed brownie mix but you can totally use your favorite Brownie Recipe (check out mine here). Load these bad boys up with all of your favorite ice cream toppings and enjoy!!
To be completely honest, Sofie and I attempted to make these star brownie ice cream sandwiches, but that was an epic fail and a mess. So these lovely little brownie sundaes came about and they were perfect. Warm brownie sundaes are one of my ultimate favorite desserts of all time anyways, so it worked out perfectly!
What you need to make the Red White & Blue Brownie Sundaes
- Brownie Mix or favorite Brownie recipe
- Round or large star Cookie Cutter
- Celebration Ice Cream (birthday cake, vanilla, or similar)
- Whipped Topping
- Red White & Blue Sprinkles
- Chocolate Syrup
How to make these easy Patriotic Red White & Blue Brownie Sundaes
First make your brownies according the recipe or boxed mix packaging. I used a family sized box that called for eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix it up and pour into a 9x 13 baking dish.
Bake approxiately 28-30 minutes or according to instrcutions. Let the brownie cool before cutting into rounds. If you have a large star cookie cutter you can use that, too.
If you want the brownies to be warm when served, pop them in the microwave for a few seconds then top with all of you favorite sundae toppings.
We loaded ours with a “Celebration” Ice cream that had swirls of blue and funfetti sprinkles in it. Then add some chocolate syrup and whipped topping. AND OF COURSE- Sofie’s favorite part….the Red, White, and Blue Sprinkles! Enjoy!
And Happy Birthday America! Make sure to make these next year too for a Memorial Day treat! Looking for other Patriotic ideas? Check out my Summer Berry Rose Spritzer & Summer Berry Cupcakes!
