Alrighty friends and family, I have a delicious easy slow cooker meal for you! This Slow Cooker Meatball Lasagna is super simple, is loaded with meatballs, and cooks to perfection in the Slow Cooker.
I have to admit I do not use my Slow Cooker nearly as often as I should. But that being said, I ONLY like to cook meals in it that are all in one, no additional step type of meals like my Crock Pot Pot Roast. This Slow Cooker Meatball Lasagna is just that and more.
This slow cooker lasagna is so easy to make. Layer everything (including uncooked noodles) right in the slow cooker and set it for a few hours. When it is finished you have a nice deep dish, saucy, cheesy, meaty lasagna ready for dinner! AHH I love it!
I made this for Mike’s birthday dinner and didn’t feel like making spaghetti sauce so I used jarred sauce and frozen meatballs…so you DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE your meat sauce, either. Just super simple and loaded with all the goodies. Once you make this, you may never go back to traditional lasagna lol. But if you are looking for a meat sauce recipe I usually make my Dad’s Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce then just freeze in batches.

What you need for this Slow Cooker Meatball Lasagna
- Oven Ready Lasagna Noodles (regular work too I think? maybe a little longer cooking time)
- Marinara Sauce or Meat Sauce
- Ricotta Cheese
- Meatballs
- Mozzarella
Yes that is it FIVE ingredients and literally throw it in the Slow Cooker. Like I said, no extra stes, no sauteeing, no dicing/ chopping. You will love this and me for giving you the idea! LOL Enjoy 🙂
How to make Lasagna in the Slow Cooker or Crock Pot
First start by spraying your slow cooker with non-stick spray. Then pour some sauce on the bottom and use a spatula to spread. Then place lasagna noodles over the sauce. You will need to break the noodles to fit. Next spoon some ricotta and spread over noodles, then do a layer of meatballs that are cut in half. Then sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
Then repeat the layers two more times (adding more noodles as they fit as the pot gets bigger).
On the final layer, do one more row of noodles, sauce, and top with more cheese. Cover and set to low cook for four and a half hours.
When finished cooking, cut and serve!! I turned the slow cooker off for a few to cut it without it falling apart.
I hope you enjoy this lasagna recipe! Please stop back and let me know if you liked it!
