Okay so when I first heard of a margarita float….I wasn’t sure how tasty it would be. BUT when I made this orange sherbet margarita…MIND BLOWN! Seriously. If you know me, you know that I enjoy all types of margaritas. Frozen coconut margaritas, spicy smoked pineapple margaritas, and everything in between. This dessert style margarita is just that. A great way to fishish off your meal or just for a fun Halloween party drink.

The alcohol helps melt the sherbet as you sip and it is truly a fantastic way to enjoy some tequila! The orange sherbet compliments the tequila and the orange liquor as well. I made these the other night for my mother in law and myself and knew I had to share them with you!
What you need for this Orange Sherbet Halloween Margarita
| Orange Sherbet– You can grab a large one or just a small pint to make these. Tequila– I have become a huge fan of silver tequila but use what you like. Triple Sec– This orange flavored liquor is great to have on hand. You can also use Cointreau. Sprinkles (optional)- This just adds some festive flare, but not necessary! How to make this Margarita Float
If you are using sprinkles for the rim, just dip your glass into the sherbet first and then dip into the sprinkles. If not- just make the drink! go a head and add a couple of scoops of the orange sherbet into your glass.
Then add in the tequila and Triple Sec. The sherbet will slightly melt and continue to do so as you sip. Turning it into a delicious margarita float! Enjoy and CHEERS!

Ingredients
- 2 scoops Orange Sherbet
- 2 oz. silver tequila
- 1 oz. Triple Sec or Cointreau
- Halloween Sprinkles optional
Instructions
- If you are using sprinkles for the rim, just dip your glass into the sherbet first and then dip into the sprinkles. If not- just make the drink!
- Add a couple of scoops of the orange sherbet into your glass of choice .
- Then add in the tequila and Triple Sec.
- The sherbet will slightly melt and continue to do so as you sip! Enjoy and CHEERS!
