Ingredients Needed for This Pumpkin Spice Martini

Pumpkin Espresso Martini ingredients on table
☕ Vodka – The base of the cocktail. You can use your favorite vodka here or even swap for a vanilla or coracle flavor if you want to get crazy.

☕ Strong Coffee (or Espresso) – Gives this martini that rich coffee flavor. Espresso will give you a stronger coffee taste if you have it on hand. I don’t have a way to make espresso so I just brewed a small cup of VERY STRONG coffee.

☕ Coffee Liqueur – Adds extra coffee flavor and a little sweetness to the drink. I used Kaluha.

☕ Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer – This is what gives the cocktail that creamy pumpkin spice flavor. I used Chobani pumpkin spice creamer.

☕ Caramel & Pumpkin Pie Spice – Totally optional, but I love using them for the rim. It makes the drink feel extra festive for Fall and fancier….but if you don’t have time for it-skip it.

How to Make a Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini

Step 1: Prep the glass. If you want to dress up your glass, dip half of the rim into a little caramel. Then sprinkle it with pumpkin spice and set it aside.

Step 2: Add everything to a shaker. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, strong brewed coffee or espresso, coffee liqueur, and pumpkin spice coffee creamer.

Step 3: Shake it up. Give everything a good shake until the cocktail is chilled and nice and frothy for the classic espresso martini finish.

Step 4: Strain and garnish. Strain the drink into your prepared martini glass. Add a little extra pumpkin spice on top if you want. And if you have three coffee beans, go for it!

Step 5: Enjoy! That’s it! Now you have an easy and festive fall cocktail ready to enjoy.

Ways to make strong coffee instead of espresso

I used my Ninja Coffee Maker and selected the cup dial and add a few scoops of coffee grounds to brew a strong cup. You can also Mae a song cup of coffee in a French Press or even use Instant Coffee if you have it.

Additions & Substitutions

  • Swap pumpkin spice creamer for vanilla or caramel creamer
  • Skip the caramel rim for a simpler drink
  • Sprinkle extra pumpkin spice on top before serving
