Looking for a fun and spooky drink for Halloween? This Midnight Magic Halloween Punch is an easy, kid-friendly drink made with grape and cherry Kool-Aid, fizzy ginger ale, and a fun scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

I actually made this punch for my kids last Halloween, and it was such a hit. They loved the dark, mysterious color and especially watching the vanilla ice cream float on top and slowly melt into the punch. It was such a simple thing to make, but it made Halloween feel a little more special. And it actually tastes good HAHA! You can just leave a pitcher of the Kool aid in the fridge and make these all month long!
So, of course, I decided I had to share it with you!

Step 2: Make the punch. When ready to serve at a ladle full of the black Kool-Aid to a cup or glass. Add in a little ginger ale, and then top with a scoop of ice cream!
Punch Bowl Instructions: Make the Kool-Aid right in the punch bowl and add about 3/4 of the bottle of ginger ale. You can add scoops of ice cream right into the punch bowl or serve a scoop on top when serving.
Serve immediately and enjoy your spooky Midnight Magic Halloween Punch! 🎃

Make It an Adult Halloween Punch
Want to turn this kid-friendly punch into one of your Halloween drinks for adults? Add your favorite vodka, vanilla vodka, or spiced rum to the punch for an easy adult version.
If you’re serving both kids and adults, I recommend keeping the non alcoholic Halloween punch separate and adding the alcohol to individual adult servings.

🌟 Stef’s Tips
Make it right before serving. The ginger ale gives this punch its fizz, and the ice cream is best added just before serving.
Want it extra spooky? Serve it in a black punch bowl or cauldron-style bowl with Halloween cups and straws.
Don’t skip the ice cream! It might seem like a simple topping, but it’s what makes this Halloween punch extra fun. The creamy vanilla ice cream floating on the dark punch really gives it that magical Halloween look.
This is one of those super-simple Halloween drinks that doesn’t take much effort but makes a Halloween celebration feel extra festive. Just like I found out with my kids last Halloween, sometimes the easiest treats are the ones everyone remembers!
