I am participating in the Good Cookie Food Blogger’s Valentine’s Event for the 1st time this year! This fundraiser helps fight against pediatric cancer! This recipe for Valentine’s Day is inspired by this fundraiser and I am excited to share it with you! Why don’t we check out the recipe and then I will tell you below what this fundraiser is all about!

What you need for this Cherry Chocolate Chip No Bake Cheesecake

My husband Mike LOVES cheesecake and has been bugging me to make him a new flavor. Well I am tired, busy, and feeling uninspired lately. Well I saw the Philadelphia ready to use cheesecake filling in the dairy aisle and swooped it up. I remembered I had some cherry pie filling left over from my Cherry Filled Crescent Snowflake. That is how I came up with this Cherry Chocolate Chip No Bake Cheesecake!

I have used this easy cheesecake filling before in my Strawberry Cheesecake Bites and remembered it is pretty tasty. The filling is soft so not as firm as a regular cheesecake but trust me all the flavor is there!

How to make this simple no bake Cherry Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

First we start with a store bought chocolate Oreo Crust..or you can make one… check out my Irish Chocolate Cheesecake for the crust. Next you scoop the entire tub of the ready to use cheesecake filling into the chocolate pie crust.

Then you just add the cherry pie filling on top (strawberry pie filling would be tasty, too). I only used half of a can.

Finally, top with some chocolate chips! YES!! It is that easy!

Keep refrigerated until you are ready to serve! You can use a knife that is rinsed with hot water when cutting for a cleaner cut.

What is the Cookies for Kids Cancer Event?

I’m so excited to participate in this Valentine’s event. This is the fifth year for the event and we want to continue to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Cancer is the #1 cause of death of children by disease in the U.S. There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. The National Cancer Institute’s budget for childhood cancer is less than 4%. It’s such a small number and that’s why I got involved.

It’s important that we raise awareness and continue to raise funds to fund the ongoing pediatric cancer research! A few awesome companies that are helping reach the goal by matching donations are : OXO, Mediavine, and Dixie Crystals!

I have donated and I hope you can too to help with this great event! To do so just click the link below!

DONATE HERE >>> Cookies for Kids’ Cancer

Thank you to so many of you who have already donated, please help us reach our goal so we can get the full matching donations and help us make an even huge difference!
