Looking for a cute and easy treat to pass out this holiday season? Try these Christmas Pretzel Rods for a quick and delicious snack. These pretzels are very simple and come together quickly and will be a great thing for the kids to help with, too. Let them get creative!
For these Christmas Pretzel Rods I used vanilla almond bark candy coating, chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreo’s), and sprinkles. The addition of the cookies made these awesome! Simply dip, decorate, let harden, and wrap them up. Boom done easy holiday treat.
Why I love these Christmas Pretzel Rods
- Easy to make
- Just 4 ingredients
- Fun to make with the kids
- Great to package up for individual treats for events, gatherings, neighbors, etc.
I like the taste of the vanilla almond bark better than the candy melts. To me that tastes better but you can always use up whatever is in you baking cupboard. If you have white chocolate chips those will work, too. I never have much luck melting regular chocolate though. The almond bark turns out for me everytime!
How to Make these Christmas Pretzel Rods with Oreos and White Chocolate
First make up a little assembly line with crushed cookies, the bowl of melted chocolate, then parchment paper lined baking sheets.
Then dip, add crushed cookies, sprinkles, and then lay on parchment paper. Refrigerate until they set and either serve them up, place in air tight container, or wrap individually.
I like to put mine in little loot bags and hand out to people!
