What you need to make this Cinnamon Roll Cake recipe
This cake recipe is very simple and most likely you will have all of these items in your refrigerator or pantry!
- flour
- salt
- sugar
- baking powder
- milk
- 1Β egg
- vanilla
- butter
- cinnamon
- powdered sugar
How to make this easy Cinnamon Roll Cake
First, in a large bowl combine all of the dry ingredients and mix. Then add the egg, milk, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Then slowly stir in the melted butter. Pour batter into a greased pie dish.
Then for the cinnamon filling, just whisk the cinnamon and melted butter together and pour over cake batter. Use a butter knife and swirl into batter. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean.
Once the cake is done baking, make the vanilla glaze and pour over the cake while still warm. ENJOY!!
Cinnamon Roll Cake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Cinnamon Filling
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Vanilla Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Combine cake dry ingredients.
- Add egg, milk, and vanilla to dry ingredients and mix.
- Slowly stir in melted butter until well combined.
- Pour batter into a greased pie dish or cake pan.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 tbsp cinnamon and 2 tbsp of melted butter and whisk.
- Pour cinnamon mixture over the cake batter and swirl in a circular motion using a butter knife.
- Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
- After pulling cake out of oven, combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla and whisk until a glaze forms.
- Pour glaze over cake while still warm.
- ENJOY

Omg I adapted this to the Air fryer added a touch more cinnamon and butter to the filling it turned out fantastic probably a touch more moist than the recipe but I like it that way in the bread version too I like it better in this sponge cake version better.
