- Ground turkey recipe

I love new pasta recipes. One- I always have some sort of noodles in the cupboard. When I don’t know what to make, pasta is often my go to. It’s filling, cheap, and versatile. Plus my kids love noodles, so it’s perfect. You can always add in some veggies or switch out the type of noodle to fit your family’s needs.
Is ground turkey good in pasta?
I like to add ground turkey to our rotation. We love my Turkey Taco Bubble Bake or some Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers . Ground turkey has a significantly lower fat content than beef and is still high in protein. Plus is a low calorie option compared to other meats. And I love when something is a heart-healthy option- bonus points.
Ingredients for this Lemon Parmesan Ground Turkey Pasta
Ground turkey– The main protein here- you could use ground chicken as well.
Garlic– helps add fresh flavor.
Chicken Broth– low sodium chicken broth is used to make the sauce.
Heavy Cream– cream thickens the sauce and gives it a creamy texture.
Lemon– I used both the juice from a whole lemon plus the zest for a bright and citrus finish.
Parmesan Cheese– Grated Parmesan adds some texture & flavor.
Butter – makes the sauce better!
Red Pepper Flakes– I like a little spice with everything. Can skip if you want.
