You are going to thank me for sharing my family’s Sunshine Drink Cocktail with you! This refreshing light and fruit filled drink is perfect for Summertime (or anytime). So we make these Sunshine Drinks every year when we go camping with our family. It was always a secret recipe of my dad’s and it really is so good!

Even if you don’t like a bunch of fruit or fruity drinks, you will like this. All my brothers who are beer drinkers like this and even my husband who likes whiskey & coke.

I promise you, once you give this easy, boozy, fruit filled drink a try you will understand why we call it a Sunshine Drink.

Our dad ONLY will make us (2 ) on a hot day (later in the day) because they are so good and you can’t taste the booze..which obviously can be a bad thing! We even call them My maiden name “Langan Leisures” But my Dad originally called them Sunshine Drinks (so we will stick with that!)

What you need for this Sunshine Drink Cocktail:

  • Whiskey
  • Lemon
  • Orange
  • Lime
  • Ice
  • Diet Cherry 7 Up

First, start by slicing up fresh lemons, limes, and oranges.

Then fill your cup or glass with ice and add your whisky of choice, 1 slice of each fruit, and then fill the rest with Diet Cherry 7 Up..and yes Diet…its perfect (not as sweet).

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Whiskey of choice
  • 1 slice lemon
  • 1 slice orange
  • 1 slice lime
  • 8 oz Diet Cherry 7 Up

Instructions
 

  • In glass or cup of choice, fill with ice.
  • Add the shot of whiskey, a slice of each fruit, and fill the rest with the Diet Cherry 7 Up.
