Ready for a fun new Summer drink? You need to make this refreshing Purple Haze Summer Cocktail! Perfect for these hot days when you want something cold, boozy, and tasty.

Since having Stella, I have kind of veered away from liquor drinks and just stick to beer. Once in a while though, mama needs a drink! A couple of months ago I whipped up a Strawberry Lemonade Smash and enjoyed that. I knew I had to keep concocting some fun drinks at home for Summer especially since we do not get to go out anymore. We have random alcohol and juices at the house so sometimes I get to exploring with fun new cocktails.

What I love about this Purple Haze Summer Cocktail

Refreshing
Easy
Pretty (especially if entertaining guests)

I made this cocktail with some cranberry grape juice that we had in the refrigerator for Sofie. It was a great addition! If you just have grape juice or just have cranberry juice- that will work just fine too! This is the ultimate purple drink!

So go sit out on the porch or deck, grab a book and kick back and relax with this Purple Haze Summer Cocktail!!

How to make this Purple Cocktail

First fill your glass of choice with ice. We love our Mason Jars and jelly jars over here.

Then add in the vodka, the blue curacao, and a dash of grenadine (or cherry juice).

Top it off with the cran-grape juice and give it a little stir. If you want to spruce it up you can sugar the rim of your glass first. You can garnish with a cherry, too!

What is Blue Curacao Liquor?

Blue Curacao Liquor is a sweet blue liqueur, made from the dried peel of bitter oranges. It is often used to make cocktails a fun color and give it a sweet flavor. I used the liquor but they also make a blue curacao syrup that doesn’t have liquor in it.
