Ingredients Needed for This Turkey Pot Pie
You probably will already have most of the ingredients if you did any of the cooking (or if you were able to steal some leftovers).
- Leftover cooked turkey
- Gravy (jarred or about 1 1/2 cups of leftover gravy)
- Carrots
- Potatoes
- Onion
- Celery
- Pie crust
You can make this Leftover Turkey Pot Pie anytime of the year with chicken too, but I just wanted to do something different than sandwiches or turkey noodle soup. So it was really easy and flavorful!
How to Make this Leftover Turkey Pot Pie
First, start by chopping up the onions, carrots, potatoes, and celery.
Next, roll out one of the pie crust into a pie baking dish and press to fit pan.
Then add all of the ingredients to the dish.
Then top with the second crust .
Add a few slits into the top pie crust using a butter knife to let steam release during baking. Optional (you can add some melted butter or egg wash on top).
Then pinch and seal the two crusts together and bake at 350 degrees F for about 45-50 minutes. Easy peasy…enjoy!
Additions
- Have sweet potatoes? Use those instead!
- Like mushrooms? Toss some in.
- Leftover chicken? Use that instead.
