I always make my girls mini pizzas on the Blackstone with mini naan breads for a quick meal. Well, I wanted to change it up last week (for Taco Wednesday in our house) so made these Queso Mexican Pizzas for my husband and I. To my surprise my daughter actually really liked them too which is a bonus.
Besides smashburgers, I have actually never cooked Blackstone ground Beef recipes. We do a lot of steaks, Cheesesteaks, fajitas, and breakfast items. So this was a nice change up from our few normals that we cook out on the griddle.
Why I love these Blackstone Queso Mexican Pizzas

What you need for this Blackstone Mexican Pizza Recipe
- Ground beef– If you want to swap out ground turkey go for it.
- Taco Seasoning– I just used a packet but you can definitely use your favorite taco seasoning/ rub that you have. And I always use the Less Sodium option.
- Mini Naan breads– I found mini round naans or smaller personal sized ones found at the local grocery store..
- Taco sauce– this smooth sauce made the base of my pizzas. You could easily use salsa.
- Mexican Blend of Cheese
- Salsa Con Queso– of course we are jarred queso addicts at our house. This just adds a cheesy layer!
- Queso Fresco-I used both. The fresh queso fresco is a mild cheese that crumbles on top.
- Toppings of choice: Diced tomatoes, sour cream, cilantro, hot sauce, diced onions.

How to make this Naan Pizza Recipe
First fire up the Blackstone to a medium heat and cook up the ground beef. Once its mostly cooked add in the taco seasoning packet and pour some water over it. Mix it all in and let the meat mixture simmer for a few.
Then on the other side of the griddle (have it going low), add the mini naan breads and add some taco sauce to each of them. Add a little bit of the Mexican blend of cheese and the seasoned taco meat to each of the naan breads. At this point you may want to turn off the burner \to prevent over cooking the bottoms of the pizzas.
Next drizzle them each with a little jarred queso cheese on top and a little of the queso fresco.
Remove from the flat top and add and additional toppings to your liking. Chopped tomatoes and sour cream for us! Enjoy!!
