Why I love this Steak and Gnocchi Alfredo Recipe
- Just 8 ingredients
- Something different
- Tastes like a restaurant dish right at home
- My kids liked it
If you have ever had Alfredo with steak, you know that it is a great combo. Something about grilled steak combined with a creamy sauce just works! I love a good gnocchi recipe. My Irish eyes are smiling with potatoes in pasta form….for real. So what better way to enjoy those soft little fluffy pillows than with a steak Alfredo combination! Plus, it is easy to make with the help of the large flat top surface. Don’t own one? Of course you can make this stove top, too.

Ingredients Needed for this Gnocchi with Alfredo Sauce
🥩 Potato Gnocchi– I used two packages. 🥩Steak– Two steaks of your preference works here. I used sirloin from our cow but New York strip would work, too! 🥩Steak Seasoning– After I cut up the steak I just sprinkled it with some Chicago style steak seasoning but you can use what you want. 🥩Garlic– I like some fresh garlic for flavor and the health benefits. 🥩Alfredo Sauce– I am lazy and like to keep things quick so I used jarred sauce. Of course you can make a homemade Alfredo sauce if you would rather. I grabbed a large jar and used most of it. 🥩 Milk– I added a little milk just to take away that fake store-bought flavor that sometimes comes with jarred sauce. 🥩Spinach– I wanted a little green in here so through in a handful of spinach. You can skip it if you want, but even for the non-green eaters- it cooks down you can barely tell its in there. 🥩Parmesan Cheese– Some shredded parmesan added at the end makes this dish rock and roll. 🥩Water– I used water to help cook the gnocchi on the flat top. |

How to make this Blackstone Streak and Gnocchi Alfredo Recipe
Step 1: Cut and season steak. First cut your steak into about 1 inch pieces. Sprinkle with steak seasoning and toss to combine. Refrigerate until ready to cook. Then when you are ready to cook, fire up the flat top to a medium heat and add a splash of oil if needed (if you did it after cleaning, you don’t need to). Add on the steak and fresh garlic. Let cook for a few minutes.
Step 2: Cook the gnocchi. On the other side of the surface, add on the packs of gnocchi and squirt some water all over them to help cook/steam. Toss them around and let cook for a few minutes.
Step 3: Add sauce. When the gnocchi is soft and tender, add in the jar of sauce and milk. Toss to combine. Let cook to warm up the sauce.

Step 4: Combine. Once the steak in cooked to your liking and the gnocchi mixture is warm, combine the steak and gnocchi mixture.
Step 5: Cook Spinach. This doesn’t take long so when you are almost ready, add the spinach to the flat top and let cook until wilted/cooked to your liking.
Step 6. Combine and serve. Next toss everything together and sprinkle with some parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy warm!
