Alright friends this dessert will be the easiest thing you make all season long! This Apple Cinnamon Roll Up is literally just two ingredients and perfect for brunch, dessert, or as a treat on a chilly day. As I mentioned before we have an apple tree in our front yard and this year it is producing beautifully. Using the apples up means lots of experimenting for me over here so I created this Apple Cinnamon Roll Up.

Mike, Sofie, and I went to the cider mill a few weeks ago and although we do not need apples we went for some hard cider tasting and a caramel apple pie. Well we didn’t eat the pie in time and it was ruined so I wanted to whip something together to cure Mike’s apple craving. So I grabbed a can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and cut up a couple of the apples from the front yard to make this apple and cinnamon roll dessert.

What you need for this Apple Cinnamon Roll Up

  • Apples
  • Can of cinnamon rolls

How to make this Apple Cinnamon Roll Up

All you have to do is unroll the can of cinnamon rolls onto your baking sheet. I pressed the dough down so it would be a littler larger and the strips are sealed together. Then peel, core, and chop the apples and spread over the cinnamon rolls.

Carefully roll the cinnamon rolls over the apples. Then bake for about 35 minutes at 325 until the cinnamon rolls are cooked.

Then drizzle the icing from the cinnamon rolls over top. Sprinkle with more cinnamon if you would like and enjoy warm or cold!

Apple Cinnamon Roll Up

Cook Time 35 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pkg. cinnamon rolls
  • 2 apples peeled, cored, and diced

Instructions
 

  • Spray baking sheet with non stick cooking spray.
  • Unroll cinnamon rolls and press until all the dough strips are sealed together.
  • Peel, core, and chop apples.
  • Spread the apples over the cinnamon rolls.
  • Slowly roll up the dough over the apples.
  • Bake at 325 for 30-35 minutes until cinnamon rolls are lightly browned and cooked.
  • Drizzle with icing from the cinnamon roll package.

Notes

Slice and serve warm or cold. You can add additional cinnamon on top~
