| šLime wedge ā for rimming the glass and adding a little fresh citrus flavor. šSugar ā to coat the rim and give it that sweet, sparkly edge. šIce ā gotta keep it nice and cold! šTequila ā grab your favorite brand here (use what you love). šTriple Sec or other orange liquorā adds that sweet orange flavor that makes every margarita better. šPomegranate juice ā this is what gives your drink that deep red color and fruity flavor. šOrange juice ā brightens things up and adds a little sweetness. šPomegranate arils ā for garnish and a pop of color. šLime or orange slice ā to finish it off and make it look festive. |
How to Make this Recipe for Pomegranate Margaritas
Step 1: Prep the glass. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in sugar. It gives it that pretty sparkle and a touch of sweetness in every sip.
Step 2: Build the base. Add some ice to your cocktail shaker. Squeeze in the lime wedge and drop it right in ā no sense wasting all that fresh juice!

Step 3: Mix it up. Pour in the tequila, Triple Sec, pomegranate juice, and a splash of orange juice. Shake it all up until itās chilled and blended.
Step 4: Pour & garnish. Fill your rimmed glass with fresh ice and strain the margarita over the top. Add a few pomegranate arils for garnish and finish it off with a slice of lime or orange.
Optional: If you donāt have a shaker, no problem ā just mix everything right in the glass and give it a good stir.

Additions & Substitutions
- Swap the tequila for vodka or white rum if thatās what you have on hand.
- If you prefer a salt rim instead of sugar, go for it ā it gives a nice contrast to the sweetness.
- You can even mix in a touch of cranberry juice for an extra festive flavor twist.
- Make them more festive by making a batch of Infused Christmas Ice Cubes!
