Ready for a refreshing gin cocktail that gets over looked? Try this Orange Tom Collins Cocktail for an easy and tasty beverage for a hot Summer day.
I am not a huge gin fan but I actually like this Orange Tom Collins Cocktail! When I have made these at the restaurant I work at I always think to myself I bet I would like that drink. Well I added a little squeeze of orange and I really enjoyed this classic cocktail.
What is a Tom Collins Cocktail?
Generally a Tom Collins Cocktail is the mixture of gin, lemon juice, sugar, and a carbonated water. It is almost like having a gin with fresh lemonade. Trust me you will want to try this and is super easy to make at home!
What you need for this Orange Tom Collins Cocktail:
- Gin
- Cane Sugar
- 1 slice of lemon
- 1 slice of orange
- Soda Water
How to make this Orange Tom Collins Cocktail:
In your glass of choice add your ice, cane sugar, and gin. Then squeeze a slice of lemon in there or use about 1 tsp of lemon juice.
Then squeeze an orange slice in there and leave the orange in the glass. Finish it off with soda water and give it a stir!! Enjoy 🙂
You can use regular sugar too but I like cane sugar for cocktails! CHEERS friends!

Orange Tom Collins Cocktail
Ingredients
- Ice
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- 2 oz Gin
- 1 tsp lemon juice 1 slice squeezed
- 1 orange slice squeezed
- 3 oz soda water
Instructions
- In a glass of choice add ice, cane sugar, and gin.
- Then squeeze lemon over ice.
- Squeeze orange slice over ice and drop in glass.
- Add soda water.
- Stir.
- Garnish with additional lemon or orange slice.
