How to make a homemade Mcgriddle
First fire up the Blackstone or your griddle and cook over low. Have your pancake mix ready to go and transfer everything outside.
Start by cooking the pork sausage patties since that will take the longest.
I messed this up the 1st time but “smash” the pork sausage in the beginning so it lays flatter on the sandwich.
Once the sausage is almost done go ahead and crack your eggs onto the griddle (if you have egg rings use those).
Move the sausage over to the side to make room to make your pancakes. Slowly add the pancake batter to the griddle (if you want uniform pancakes you can use a batter dispenser). Drizzle a little syrup right in the pancake before flipping.
Assemble your Homemade McGriddles
Next assemble these sandwiches by placing an egg, the flattened sausage and American Cheese finish off with another pancake. Then serve hot with a little extra syrup if desired and enjoy!
Enjoy! If you have rolled pork sausage- you may have a different amount of patties. So just make them according to how many pork sausage patties you have.
Make sure to PIN IT!
