Mike and I went out to eat by ourselves a few weeks ago for the first time since our daughter was born 2.5 years ago. Well we tried a bunch of crazy foods and one of them was Pizza Tots! I knew I had to make these Amazing Air Fryer Pizza Tots for us at home.

We keep these pizza tots simple with just sauce, cheese, and pepperoni but go ahead and load them up with your favorite toppings! For these loaded tots, we used our Ninja Digital Air Fryer Oven, but have made them in our Ninja Foodi, too. So, whatever Air Fryer you have will work, just the times may vary a little. And OF COURSE you can bake them, too!

How to make these Amazing Air Fryer Pizza Tots

First cook a layer of tator tots on your Air Fryer basket/pan and Air Fry for about 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Rotating them halfway.

Then pull them out and top with sauce, cheese, pepperoni and Air Fry for another five minutes until cheese is melted to your liking.

We like to have chopped basil on top, but you can drizzle ranch or hot sauce or whatever you like! Serve hot and enjoy friends!! ?

Amazing Air Fryer Pizza Tots

These loaded tator tots are topped with all of your favorite pizza toppings.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer or Oven

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz frozen tator tots (about 1/2 bag)
  • 1 cup marinara/pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • mini or regular pepperoni or toppings of choice
  • Fresh basil chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Lay out tator tots on Air Fryer basket/pan and Air Fry fir 10 minutes at 400 degrees (rotating half way through)
  • Once tator tots are hot and browned, add the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
  • Place back in Air Fryer for another 5 minutes.
  • Top with chopped basil, ranch, hot sauce, for garnish!

Notes

If using the oven,  follow package cooking instructions for tator tots then add topping and broil for a few minutes until cheese is melted.
